Water Taxi
There is a water taxi in St Maartin that takes you over to the main beach and shopping part of town. You can walk it (and I did on a number of occasions) and get some behind the scene shots but this was so much quicker. It only cost $6 to have a day pass, although I was only off the ship for a max of 4 hours.
You get taken over by a friendly captain with music bellowing the “feeling hot hot hot” that seemed like the theme tune of the island. I could recite the speech on the boat fully by the end of the Caribbean session.
