A Busy Piccadilly
I was was happy to see that all of the scaffolding had been taken down from around Piccadilly Circus. At one point it seemed like all of London was covered in the stuff but I guess that was a pre Olympic thing. Now London has had a new coat of paint its looking as great as ever even with a revamped advert boards here.
People sometimes pose a bit of a problem for HDR images. They create a lot of ghosting that sometimes a long exposure cannot fix. Another problem is that they always get in the way. I had to wait for ages to get this shot as a photographer was standing on this barrier like a daredevil taking photos looking down on everyone.
