Pure WheelPure WheelThere something about a white sky that I like about photos. Perhaps is the way I was taught how to use negative space in architecture to affect moods. That puts in in good stead to start applying it in photography. It is always in the back of a photographers mind when they are composing. The more you do it the less you have to think about what you are doing. It just sort of becomes natural to you. I am not sure where I am on that scale but I like to think that it is nearly natural. But if you stop thinking about composition, then what will happen?

Purple River

More often then not, when I go around London taking photos the sky becomes this shade of purple/red. I dont mind as it creates good colours in the Thames. I think this was taken from Charing Cross bride but I could be wrong. It had been a very wide shot that got in a lot more of the left hand side but I decided to crop it down. You can see St Paul’s in the distance and the Oxo tower dominating the Thames line.

So the olympics is near and London is supposedly ready. I hope it is otherwise my journey to work will be very eventful. I will let you all know on Friday how that little adventure goes.
