Pure WheelPure WheelThere something about a white sky that I like about photos. Perhaps is the way I was taught how to use negative space in architecture to affect moods. That puts in in good stead to start applying it in photography. It is always in the back of a photographers mind when they are composing. The more you do it the less you have to think about what you are doing. It just sort of becomes natural to you. I am not sure where I am on that scale but I like to think that it is nearly natural. But if you stop thinking about composition, then what will happen?

The Sun over the Palace

Happy Friday. I could really do with a long weekend. I have so many past photos to edit that it would take me a whole moth of solid working to even make a dent in them. This was one of those old photos that I just stumbled upon while sorting out my library. I decided to make it into a panorama just to change the view up from what I have shot before.

St James’s Park (which name has annoyed me ever since I noticed it was spelt wrong. It’s James’ people, I should know) is a great place to just take a walk in when you are looking for some inspiration. It just so happens that I saw a great sunset over Buckingham Palace on this occasion.
