Pure WheelPure WheelThere something about a white sky that I like about photos. Perhaps is the way I was taught how to use negative space in architecture to affect moods. That puts in in good stead to start applying it in photography. It is always in the back of a photographers mind when they are composing. The more you do it the less you have to think about what you are doing. It just sort of becomes natural to you. I am not sure where I am on that scale but I like to think that it is nearly natural. But if you stop thinking about composition, then what will happen?

The Wedding cake monument

Arguably this is one of the most famous monuments in London. Well perhaps apart from the aptly named Monument close to London Bridge. Also perhaps apart from the Statue of Eros in Piccadilly Circus. I guess I am saying that this is (probably) the 3rd most famous statue in London. It sits outside the front of Buckingham Palace and is of Queen Victoria Sitting on the Throne. I had no idea that it was nicknamed the Wedding Cake Monument before I started writing this post. It commemorates Queen Victoria and was designed by Sir Aston Webb. Work began in July 1903 and the final memorial was unveiled in 1911 by King George V.

Thank you google for that gem of knowledge.
