Pure WheelPure WheelThere something about a white sky that I like about photos. Perhaps is the way I was taught how to use negative space in architecture to affect moods. That puts in in good stead to start applying it in photography. It is always in the back of a photographers mind when they are composing. The more you do it the less you have to think about what you are doing. It just sort of becomes natural to you. I am not sure where I am on that scale but I like to think that it is nearly natural. But if you stop thinking about composition, then what will happen?

Southwark Symmetry

Symmetry again... When I scan through my pictures, it’s scary how many become symmetrical. Well I’m not going to stop. Southwark station is full of little architectural wonders. It's also a very busy station and I was waiting here for 20 minutes trying to get a clear spot. I think I still had to photoshop people out of the equation by cloning parts of the opposite staircase.

There are so many spots in this tube station to take photos. I always forget then realise that I sometimes don’t have my camera on me and try and plan to go back. I’m glad that I did this time.
