Pure WheelPure WheelThere something about a white sky that I like about photos. Perhaps is the way I was taught how to use negative space in architecture to affect moods. That puts in in good stead to start applying it in photography. It is always in the back of a photographers mind when they are composing. The more you do it the less you have to think about what you are doing. It just sort of becomes natural to you. I am not sure where I am on that scale but I like to think that it is nearly natural. But if you stop thinking about composition, then what will happen?

Out of the Shadows

Yes I know it’s been a while since I last posted. Mankind has even been able to make it to Pluto since I last posted. I have recently moved into a new home in the middle of Surrey. While this has taken up so much of my time recently, it should mean that I should now have loads more chances to take photos. I even have my own desk. I’ve never had that. Now only to fill it with something worthwhile.

As I have yet to wander about the local area and take photos, I have been looking through my unprocessed library and found this little gem. I was on a tour of Malta a few years ago and wandered inside the home of someone very noble. I can’t for the life of me remember who it was but it was a very grand building. I was trying to concentrate on interior shots naturally, but saw this girl peering through this window to the outside. I love how the window frames her pose and almost silhouettes her against the very bright background.
